Julie Wohlberg is a nationally-recognized expert on blogging and blogger relations, as well as social media marketing and brand strategy. In her career, she has managed communications and business development for top consumer and B2B tech start-ups based internationally in Europe, the United States and South America. Through her work with BlogWire, LLC, she has managed blogger outreach campaigns for some of the most recognizable household brands in America, including but not limited to Lands’ End, Thermos, Bic, Gatorade, Clorox, SC Johnson, Petco, and more than 400 others.

Prior to her public relations career, Wohlberg worked as a features and entertainment writer and was the producer/host for Cinema Confidential Television, the broadcast partner to the UGO.com site, CineCon.com. Her work has been published in such outlets as New York Newsday, AM New York, Chicago Tribune, Orlando Sun-Sentinel, and LA Times, and she wrote a syndicated film column that ran in 14 international alternative newsweeklies.

After becoming a mom, Julie made the transition to a natural lifestyle (baby books are excellent starting points to outline just how many products contain toxic or harmful ingredients), and turned her big business experience into a boutique business helping startups find their stride. When she’s not busy planning communication strategies or writing corporate copy, Julie can be found chasing her 4-year-old son, writing for her personal blog, or tending to her orchid collection.
